You get one free from each bureau each year. Get one from each bureau every four months and you don’t have to pay for it.

It really depends on where you live. Businesses in different areas of the country predominantly use different bureaus. For instance, Equifax is used mostly in the southeast US. TransUnion is used mostly in the midwest and New England, and Experian is used mostly out west.

you can get one free from
techinally you can get a free one from each of the credit bureau that way
every 4 months
like say this is Feberary you got
then you chose say Equifax for this time
then four months go then you do it again but go to transunion this time
then let another go back and then you do it again for the credit report
also you are entied to free one if you have been declined credit or you are viticm of
id theft

buildcredit.ifastnet.com – try this site. I use it to monitor my credit and also cleaned off some bad items from my credit report. You can apply for free initial plan and get your scores and reports for free.
